The key questions around switching, working together and our services — answered briefly and honestly. Your question isn't listed? Get in touch.

Switching & collaboration

How do I switch to Lohnmeister?

Very straightforward: in a short initial call we clarify your needs, then we take over master data and ongoing cases. We handle the data migration for you — you don't need to prepare anything except access to your existing data.

What does payroll cost?

You pay a fixed monthly price — no hidden costs, no surprises. That keeps your personnel costs fully under control and makes them easy to plan and budget.

We tailor the fixed price individually to your number of employees and requirements. Request your no-obligation quote.

Is the data migration free of charge?

Usually yes — migrating your master data is free, no matter which system you're coming from.

One exception: for a mid-year switch that requires extensive back-entry of past months, we agree a fair flat fee for that — transparent and agreed in advance.

Can I switch mid-year too?

Yes, a switch is possible at any time, including mid-year — not just at the turn of the year. We take over the periods already processed cleanly and continue seamlessly.

Do you also work behind the scenes for tax advisors?

Of course. On request we work white-label in the background — under your own letterhead. Your clients won't notice the outsourcing; you remain the point of contact. Whole client portfolios, individual clients or purely specialist topics are all possible.

From how many employees do you work?

Flexible from 1 to 1,000+ employees. Whether a one-person business, firm clients or a corporate group — we scale with your needs.

Services & special topics

Can you handle temporary-staff payroll (AKÜ)?

Yes. Payroll for temporary staff leasing (AKÜ), including the related collective-agreement specifics, is one of our specialist topics.

Do you handle BUAK processing?

Yes. We handle the complete BUAK processing (the Austrian construction workers' leave and severance fund) including all filings — also part of our specialist topics for the construction sector.

Which software do you use?

We work with BMD NTCS and support it from A to Z. In addition we develop bespoke tools and interfaces around your systems. More under Services.

Do you also take on just individual special topics or backup?

Yes. You can hand us tricky special cases only, or use us as a backup in the event of staff absence — at the push of a button, with no ramp-up. Details under Services.

Security & availability

What about data protection and AI?

We run our own GDPR-compliant AI systems in-house — your sensitive data does not leave the company uncontrolled. Data transfer is encrypted (TLS/https).

How can I reach you?

Mon–Thu 08:00–12:00 & 13:00–16:00, Fri 08:00–13:00. For registrations & deregistrations there is also an on-call service on weekends. Phone +43 5 9499, email office@lohnmeister.at or via WhatsApp.

Discretion & trust

Why are there no team names or photos on your site?

That's a deliberate choice — for two good reasons: data protection and fairness to our team. As payroll specialists we handle highly sensitive salary and personnel data every day; a restrained public presence fits that commitment to discretion. We also don't want to make our staff a target for poaching — good payroll specialists are in demand, and we value our team too much to put them "on display". 😉

Don't worry: in the personal initial meeting you'll of course get to know your dedicated contact by name and face.

Do you have references or customer reviews?

Yes — but on request only. Many of our clients value keeping their cooperation with an external payroll provider confidential; we respect that and don't put anyone on public display without being asked. We're happy to name suitable references in a personal conversation — discreetly and with each client's consent. Just get in touch.

Your question isn't listed?

We're happy to answer it in a non-binding initial consultation.
